Brian Thompson

Brian serves as the Division Vice President and General Manager, leading PTC’s CAD and engineering calculations businesses. In his 30-year tenure, the business has achieved remarkable growth rates and is recognized for cutting-edge innovation to meet customer needs. Brian, the main advocate for Creo and PTC’s CAD business, brings over 15 years of experience in electro-mechanical product development across diverse manufacturing industries. With six product design patents, Brian has held various roles, reflecting PTC’s customer base, including functional engineering management, product development management, and technical product management. Brian holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and an M.S. in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
