The presentation will show a case on how best practice principles and methods from Modularization can be employed to efficiently structure product data and technical configuration logic in Windchill PLM. For complex product and portfolios, having a clear product structure and transparent configuration logic is a prerequisite for connecting to other systems such as CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) and ERP with managable effort. All too often we see efforts fail due to having poor data, poor structures and a bottom-up, step wise approach – this case will show how to work top down with Modularization get back in control of your data to establish a true digital thread in Windchill PLM and beyond.
